Meadow’s Brothers’ Farm is located in Barton, just outside of Digby. The farm is owned and operated by Thian Carman with assistance from his family. They grow chickens, eggs, pigs, lamb, maple syrup, hay and  vegetables which they produce for their family.

Thian received local and national recognition as Nova Scotia’s youngest registered farmer. Thian knew that he wanted to be a farmer when he was very young and he has received national awards for his research on the impact of music on the quantity and growth of chickens’ eggs. and he’s received many other awards and scholarships for Dalhousie University where he’s studying Agriculture.
