The Last Straw Farm, Point Edward

On our fourth generation family farm, our mission is to to act as stewards of the land and produce nutritious food for our clients so that we can sustain a happy, healthy and profitable family farm. We grow healthy grass-fed beef and mixed vegetables for local sale without the use of fertilizers, antibiotics or hormones.

The cattle fertilize the fields and we maximize the use of rainwater for animals while protecting wetlands. We enjoy hosting WWOOFers and student visits.

We plan to augment the farm’s energy needs through the use of solar power.
